So I not-so-voluntarily put myself through a week of hell. It started off with moving, finding out I'm allergic to dogs, creating a blister on the side of my foot the size of an apple, and not having wireless internet.
But there's been a bright side to this week as well. I discovered I like hummus... yeah, I know right? How does a vegan NOT like hummus? I always avoided it because it looks like baby poop and I'm not a fan of "spreads".. I also discovered buying a 6 pack of Stella for $10 is more cost effective than spending +$25 for 3. (I'm not an idiot, I already knew this, but I'm just sooo lazzzyyyy) I also got to see The National play at House Of Blues in Boston with my good friend Nora.
The security guard tried making me "check" my backpack at the coat check. Somehow I pulled the greatest excuse out of my butt in like .2 seconds. "Oh, I'm sorry, I can't check my bag- my medication is in there. I have epilepsy. I might have a seizure from the music" basically. It was great. They rocked my world, of course. And also played for TWO FUCKING HOURS. I was so hot... and bothered. Anyway.. Last night was Pussy Unit Karaoke. Ummmmm.. that's all I'll say about that.
